Suhail Al-Ansari

Suhail Al-Ansari is a finance and governance expert with over two decades of experience in the sovereign investment sector, with a strong focus on the healthcare industry. He is the co-founder and Executive Director of The Farms Holding Limited and CopperMane Holdings LLC, as well as the founder and Executive Director of Asab Investments LLC and CST Energy. He also advises numerous multinational healthcare companies and academic medical institutions across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Previously, Suhail led the Healthcare Unit at Mubadala Investment Company as Executive Director of Healthcare. As founder of the healthcare practice at Mubadala, he was responsible for overseeing the development, operations, and management of healthcare assets and initiatives within the company’s portfolio.

During his tenure, he established and oversaw the operations of eight healthcare businesses in partnership with globally renowned institutions such as Cleveland Clinic, Laboratory Corporation of America, and Imperial College London. He managed a portfolio exceeding US$ 4 billion in assets, employing over 6,000 professionals and generating annual revenues surpassing US$ 750 million.

Suhail has held numerous board positions, including Chairman of the Board of Directors of Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Healthpoint Hospital, National Reference Laboratory, Tawam Molecular Imaging Center, Capital Health Screening Center, Abu Dhabi Telemedicine Center, Viceroy Hotels and Resorts, and Agility Abu Dhabi. He also served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

In addition to his healthcare leadership roles, he served as Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi–Singapore Joint Forum, an initiative established by the Executive Affairs Authority of Abu Dhabi and the Government of Singapore to foster collaboration between the public and private sectors of both regions.

Suhail holds a Master of Science in Finance from Boston College (USA) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Chemical Engineering from the University of Surrey (UK). He also serves as an advisory board member of UKCloud Ltd, a leading British multi-cloud provider.
